msDor^™ Core

Environ Biocomposites Manufacturing, LLC (EBM) has a full range of fire rated door cores to fit most applications. Our msDor core product line include 20-minute, 45, and 60-minute rated cores which can be utilized with a wide variety of add-on hardware and light accessories. The final manufactured doors using our core can be used in almost all situations which call for neutral or positive pressure applications. The 20 and 45-minute cores are rated for pairs and double egress doors. The 60-minute core is rated for single swing applications with many added attributes.

EBM's state of the art production facility allows us to offer the msDor^™ core from a minimum 18 pcf density or greater depending upon customers' final mechanical and physical application requirements. Thicknesses range from 1.115" and up. The 18 pcf rated core makes an excellent drop in filler for both residential and commercial applications. However, where ANSI LD 1 or LD 2 standards are desired, EBM's 27 pcf, FR45, and FR60 door cores will fit the need. Higher densities are available upon request.

EBM's unique process utilizes a recycled, rapidly renewable fiber source in conjunction with a non-urea formaldehyde resin which yields maximum LEED points for new construction and remodeling.

All testing of the msDor^™ core rated products is performed and verified by Intertek. A stringent Quality Control procedure is adhered to by EBM and is monitored by Intertek inspectors on a quarterly basis.
